SUBMITTING WORK: I have an example here on how you can upload it to DA and what I’m kind of looking for in sketches/and bio. Once uploaded you can send me a link to your submission through a pm. I’ll than pm you back saying I got it and an email that you can send your higher res drawings/word documents too. Please zip everything into one file when you email them too me, it will seriously save on time. If you are submitting to the writers option put everything in a Microsoft Office Word document. If you don’t have that program…just put it all in and email, and I’ll copy paste it into one.
When you email everything to me, you must put your screen name from DA in the subject fallowed by the word Contest EX if I were to submit something I would put my screen name malice Kisho fallowed by contest: “Malicekisho Contest”. Other wise it might find it’s way into the trash x_x of junk mail with out me ever getting it.

BIO LENGTH: I’ve had a lot of questions about how long I want the Bio’s. You can make it as long as you feel is necessary to tell me about the character. If it takes only two paragraphs that’s cool, if it takes a page great…two, three pages, it’s all good with me. I am going to put a max on 5 pages, because that’s not really a bio any more lol.

BW FINISHED DRAWINGS: If your going to do a finished piece with a medium that will result it being in black and white…make sure on the sketches and notes page you illustrate or write the colors of the character in some form or fashion.

Contest: Create a Character
Subject: Sinful Angels/Wayward Demons

Challenge: This shouldn’t be really hard, because at one point we really all do it. The mission in this contest is to come up with your own character. Yes, I said your -own-. The subject though has to be of either an Angel or a Demon, out of society’s typical characterization of the two. So really, an Angel acting like a Demon or a Demon showing attributes that angels are known to usually have.

Intended for:

Character MUST be your own and NEWLY CREATED from your own imagination. Please do not send me material of characters you already have. I want new and fresh characters, I will further explain why in the prizes.
Bio sheet- Please write about your character. Give him/her a past and a reason for acting the way they do. Describe their personality, and write a description of their habits, strengths and weaknesses.
Sketches/Notes- Major/minor notes about the character’s physically looks. This well be used as a reference in case your final drawing isn’t clear enough.
Final Drawing- Exactly that, send in a finished drawing of your character. It must be a finished piece. No Sketches.

Final Piece: It can be however long you want it to be, any style you want, it just has to be a finished piece with thoughts towards grammar. No Rough drafts.
