So…I’m nearing the big 100,000 view hit mark. I’ve been both dreading and excited over the fact. For several reasons, but I’ll sum them up. I’m not much for popularity. Never was popular, nor desired the chore that goes with it. Frankly when you look around to all the more famous artist around here…It never ceases to amaze me that these artists are still around considering all the abuse they get. Spamming of comments, one worded comments…whole conversations where people are talking about everything but the artwork, copyright issues, identity issues, watermarks…I could go on for hours~but you get the idea. I’ve been here for four years, and I’m glad to say I’ve enjoyed every minute of it…and that I’ve been able to stay on the low side of all the garbage that goes on around here. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my fans…but I’m starting to feel the effects of popularity.

My artwork has only appeared on the front page twice, and one of those times it wasn’t even me who posted it. It was some one using my artwork (without my permission, later asked) for a poem…and the other time was for a print (self destruction). Also, considering that I’ve been here for four years, my artwork has changed considerably. I feel like I’ve out grown the MaliceKisho title. On the other hand I feel like I’ve grown attached to it…I’m a bit torn when I say this, but I find that Kisho is no longer my muse. In fact I haven’t –really- drawn him for over a year. I don’t want to delete what I have here either, nor go through all the trouble of reposting them some where else (mainly for copyright issues, deviant art is kind enough to date when you post things).

So here’s what I came to conclusion…I’ll make a new account MaliceAzriel. I’ll be reposting everything that I’ve done for this year, and won’t be deleting anything before that from the MaliceKisho account, but it will no longer be under use. This way any fans that desire enough to see my future work, or bother to read journals…will be able to fallow where I currently am, and know what happened to me. I don’t want any one feeling like I just abandoned my fans. For all you Y! followers, no worries I will be keeping the Kisho title (for now).

***I will still be celebrating the 100,000 event though...with what I'm not positive. That's the other half of this journal to discus, what would every one like to do? Some Ideas please?*** I'll be gone all the Month of June so I want to celebrate this May ^_^!
