Description

KINTO-
Important features- Kinto has brown/grayish hair.... he is half Korean half Japanese^.^! Steel color eyes. A scar runs from his left shoulder blade down to above his pectoral, where a Japanese tattoo is. He usually wears red and white cloths of a healer, and he loves necklaces...lots and lots...you will always see him wearing at least one. He hates shoes, and most of the time he is barefoot. If shoes are needed he wears sandals.

Personality- Kinto is... sweet...lovable caring and pure. His powers come from his own fears of being loved...usually a dragon represents that in his drawings. You can say he fears having someone to care for...wither it be he's not comfortable with new people, or fear of being hurt... this tends to lead him to dig deeper into his own abilities losing himself in his work and trying to find comfort in some other form so he doesn’t have to think about it as much. Kinto "needs to be needed." He is often unappreciated in his field of work. Ironically, because he proves over and over that he can be relied on for his loyalty and high-quality work, those around them often take him for granted--even take advantage of him. Although he’s hurt by being treated like a doormat, he is often unwilling to toot his own horn about his accomplishments because he feels that although he deserve more credit than he is getting, it's somehow wrong to want any sort of reward for doing work his line of work. Kinto is usually over worked, and suffers from mental breakdowns once a month or so. Kinto isn’t the type to base love on gender. He doesn’t necessarily find one or the other more appealing but tends to go with his gut and feelings.

KINTO becomes KENTO- (past)
Once Kinto's mental breakdowns got the best of him, he changed from the kind loving innocent boy named Kinto to the cold hearted man Kento. The change can only be described by telling his past.

Kinto’s mother and father were unknown to him or even their fate, but he knew his father was Japanese and his mother Korean. Kinto was raised by his elder brother Kyo in a post apocalyptic setting. Major Cities lie in ruins and over time they had been taken over by nature. People lived in packs ranging from 5-50 people at most, and lived in areas where there was only a source of water. Technology was taboo, and war of tribes occurred often. Each tribe had their own set of rules and jobs for each person in it, if the person couldn’t do their task set for them they become tribe-less and outcastes, more than likely they had the word ‘Outcast’ burned or tattoo on their flesh for punishment. All tribes have a person that judges and punishes accordingly called a Law, second to the leader in the pack, and some cases out classing him.

In Kinto’s younger years he was raised to believe that life was precious, killing was a word he never understood to its full effects. Kyo had raised Kinto to treasure life, but at the same time Kyo was only trying to make up for his own sins through his brother. Unbeknownst to Kinto, Kyo was an assassin, in fact a legend known in many tribes as ‘Dark’.

Once Kinto had been accepted as an apprentice (age 12) to his tribe’s healer, things had started to change between him self and his brother. Small things at first, but than his brother started missing days to come visit, until contact between the two had spanned 4 years. Coming of age (16) Kinto had been gained a title as a healer, and set to find his brother to tell him of the news. (The title tattooed under his shoulder on his chest.)

Finding him was proving a challenge; with no need of two healers Kinto accepted the offer of joining another tribe that drifted. This turned out to be a blessing, for Kinto was able to finally hear word from his brother.

Kyo almost seemed a completely different person on their reunion; he had gained two traveling bodies (partners in crime). Kamui (female 20), and Colt (Male 22). Kyo and Kamui were lovers, Colt being Kyo’s side dish. By the time Kinto had run across the group, Colt had tired of being Kyo’s dirty secret, and was smitten the moment he laid eyes on Kinto. Kinto soon found he shared the same feelings for Colt...The only problem was Colt feared Kyo’s words of discouragement and hidden threats if he ever laid his hands on his brother. Kinto on the other hand only seemed to try harder with each step Colt had tried to step away. In a final attempted to try to get Colt’s attention he childishly started directing his affection towards Kamui, who found the younger more innocent version of Kyo desirous. But there was no such luck, and Colt never bended to Kinto’s or his own desires.

A year later Kyo had died in a mission, his real identity and story of his gruesome death speeded like wild fire throughout tribes. Kinto was shocked of the news, something he still does not understand or come to believe was true. Colt on the other hand still harbored feelings for Kyo, and news of his death crushed him, he disappeared shortly after the news had reached his ears. Kamui had taken Kinto in, using him to sooth her own lusts for her dead lover…Kinto using her to replace Colt. The relationship would prove to be disastrous at best.

Kamui had shown Kinto the life that Kyo had lived, and Kinto soon found that he was good at it, no, better at it than his brother. He quickly became the shadow of his brother, so much so that people said it was Dark’s spirit coming back from the dead. Kinto’s life turned upside down, he soon became an opium addict. Death, drugs, and sex consumed him, each passing day he became quieter and harder. The final straw was pulled when he had accepted the cash to assassinate Kamui. With her cold blood still staining his fingers, he had spent the cash on her death for a new supply for opium. A cold realization hit kinto hard and fast, he was no longer Kinto, he was some one else entirely. With this realization he renamed himself Kento (age 21). He soon became such a mess that his tribe had outcast him for not doing his job of a healer. The words were burnt into the skin on the back of his shoulder while he was still in an opium haze. Waking he found himself in the middle of no where with no tribe. Finding himself abandoned and officially alone he grew harder with hatred as he traced the words ‘outcast’ on his back.

Soon after Kento had covered the words, and his healer’s tattoo with a pair of dueling dragons that covered both arms and shoulders. The pair of dragons was a cold reminder and tribute of his brother, Kamui, and Colt. Colt more so than the rest, because Colt had the same tattoo design covering his back. He soon joined another tribe that had darker intentions than the previous two he had been in, they didn’t even hesitate to let an outcast join because most in this tribe were outcasts themselves. In no time he held the title of being ‘Law’.

Kento had only run across Colt once after his brother's death (Kento 19, Colt 25). The moment was something he would forever regret when he himself had denied Colt's offer to become life partners. He was no longer the young boy who Colt had fallen in love with and to pretend to be as much would only cause more pain between the two. Colt had insisted that Kento should at least keep the ring he had offered him...so he did painfully, and it still hangs around his neck from a string.
